We have an opportunity for an experienced Property Accountant to join our highly regarded Property Management Accounting team. Reporting to the National Finance Manager you will provide assistance in the financial/management accounting for a portfolio of entities for our strategic client. This is a dynamic role working closely with the centre staff supporting their needs and providing the analysis required.
Here's what you'll focus on: Monthly reporting of management Accounts in an accurate & timely manner Review and analysis of financials. Income accruals and analysis Complete balance sheet reconciliations, P&L analysis, budgets and forecasting Outgoings and direct recovery accruals including operating expenditure accruals Ensure compliance to accounting policies and procedures. Managing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally Dealing with incoming queries and requests in a timely and efficient manner Here are strengths you'll possess and the background you'll need to be successful; Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field CPA/CA or studying towards it Previous experience within retail property accounting is highly advantageous or commercial accounting High level attention to detail and accuracy Strong time management and organisational skills to be able to thrive in a busy environment Superior communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships A positive attitude and flexible approach to work So, what's in it for you?
