Reporting directly to the Care Manager, you will be providing a high standard of nursing clinical care with an individual, person-centred approach to all residents within our residential aged care home.
About the Role Providing direct clinical nursing care to residents in line with best practice nursing procedures Acting as Team leader, providing coaching, supervision, and guidance to the personal care team Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents closely following all policies and procedures To be successful in this role you'll need A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly Current AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similar Thorough understanding of the Aged Care Legislation and Aged Care Quality Standards Demonstrated understanding of AN-ACC assessment processes Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of the aging process, particularly age-related health issues Strong coaching/training skills Effective conflict resolution skills with a high level of emotional intelligence Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance What we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less tax Fitness Passport discounted gym benefits Paid Parental leave Long Service leave after 5 years 40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to move A values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgrounds We know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
