Due to a new large enterprise-wide transformation project, we now have an opportunity for a Test Manager to join our project team working closely with the broader internal IT team. Your experience in working on large-scale enterprise transformation projects involving significant core systems such as Finance and Operations, Enterprise Supplier Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Enterprise Risk and Incident Management together with your people leadership skills will aid your success.
As the Test Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end testing of systems within a large-scale ERP program. You will ensure adherence to governance frameworks, tools and processes to reduce defects and maintain quality standards.
Your extensive experience in a similar IT test manager role, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively will aid in your success. Your highly developed written (documentation, user scripts etc.) and verbal communication skills together with your resilient, hands-on can-do approach, and desire to achieve quality outcomes will be critical to be considered for this integral position.
Your primary responsibilities will include: Develop and implement test strategies, frameworks, and plans aligned with best practices to ensure test coverage, traceability, and overall quality.Drive end-to-end testing, ensuring timely delivery of test plans, execution, defect management, and reporting, aligned with project goals and entry / exit criteria.Test Management & Quality Assurance via generation of detailed test reports, highlighting test coverage, defect metrics, and overall system quality.Lead and mentor the testing team, ensuring resources are appropriately skilled, engaged, and supported for successful delivery.Identify opportunities to optimise testing methodologies, integrate automation where feasible, and improve processes based on metrics and lessons learned.The ideal applicant will have 7+ years' experience in a Test Manager role in addition to:
Software Testing Qualifications.Familiarity with the Microsoft D365 platform or equivalent ERP environment is highly valued.Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (desirable).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively.Knowledge of and experience with test tools (including test automation).In-depth knowledge of all aspects of software testing, both functional and non-functional.Solid understanding of the SDLC and testing techniques.Highly developed written (documentation, user scripts etc.) and verbal communication skills, with a high level of enthusiasm and a "service mentality."Strong competency in the use of Microsoft Office Applications.Willingness to obtain a Police Check.What we can offer you as an employee of Catholic Healthcare:
