To help shape the future of our IT infrastructure and its alignment with our mission we have a new permanent opportunity for an experienced and driven Senior Solution Architect to join our dedicated and collaborative Apps team and be part of the large broader internal IT team.
Reporting to the IT Applications Services Manager, you will play an integral role in a large digital transformation project where you will design, implement and manage technology solutions that are aligned with CHL's Enterprise Architecture plan to improve efficiency, scalability and quality of care services.
Your role will cover architecture governance, design, solution and technical expertise, and stakeholder management.
Your ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders, translate requirements, manage expectations and influence to achieve positive successful outcomes will be critical to your success.
Apply your demonstrated experience working on large scale enterprise transformation projects involving significant core systems such as Finance and Operations, Enterprise Supplier Management, Enterprise Asset Management, Enterprise Risk and Incident Management together with your expertise in designing and implementing complex solutions within a Microsoft technology stack.
Your days will include;
Effective implementation of an architectural framework that ensures scalability, security, and compliance with aged care regulatory standards, while aligning technology strategies with business, compliance and security goals Creation of architectural design patterns for both core system capabilities as well as integration capabilities, current state to future state roadmaps and supporting program and project managers with implementation planning and estimating Working with the IT Systems Architect and IT Application Services Manager to define, design and oversee the implementation of the architectural framework for systems and platforms Collaborating with IT Leadership and Senior Business Management to align technology strategies with business objectives Successful architecture of scalable, secure, and cost-effective solutions that align with CHL's architecture principles and actively support business processes Work closely with broader team in the design and delivery of fit-for-purpose technical solutions Proactive identification of design risks, with mitigation strategies implemented effectively Provision of technical leadership and architectural insights throughout the project lifecycle Establishment of strong relationships, ensuring clear communication of architectural concepts, resolving design conflicts, and facilitating smooth transitions to new systems The ideal applicant will have exceptional technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to set realistic expectations and deliver agreed outcomes, in addition to;
7-10+ years IT experience with 6+ years' solution architecture experience Proven expertise in Microsoft environments, architectural frameworks, standards and practices, with hands on architecture and solutioning experience in Dynamics 365, SQL Server, Azure integration services, Azure service bus and Power Automate Current hands on D365 and PowerPlatform solution architecture – Essential to be considered Expert level proficiency in creating solution designs and associated documentation Technical knowledge of corporate systems (e.g., Finance, HR, Enterprise Risk Management) Strong understanding of software delivery frameworks including Agile, DevOps and TOGAF Knowledge of ITSM processes and ITIL framework.
