The Role Are you passionate about public health and community safety? The Community & Environmental Health unit is looking for a motivated, suitably qualified and experienced Environmental Health Officer to join our team.
You will work with fellow professionals to monitor, investigate, resolve and provide advice in relation to public health matters. There is an option for you to either work part time or full time to suit your availability.
We have 2 positions available:
1 full time or part time ongoing 1 full time or part time temporary to December 2025 About You You will have relevant experience as a qualified Environmental Health Officer, preferably in Victorian Local Government and a demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision whilst planning and managing your workload to meet deadlines and objectives.
You will have a strong commitment to working in a team environment, excellent problem-solving, communication and conflict resolution skills.
Tertiary qualifications in an Environmental Health discipline or other qualifications which satisfy the requirements of membership to Environmental Health peak bodies. A satisfactory police records check is required for this position.
