Job Title: Support Worker (NDIS)

Salary: $30-$35 per hour
About the RoleCaterpillar Care Support Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to provide personalized care and assistance to participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This role involves helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.Provide support in developing skills for independence and community participation.Facilitate social and recreational activities to promote inclusion and socialization.Work collaboratively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to create and implement personalized care plans.Support clients with mobility, medication reminders, and personal hygiene.Evaluate and report on client progress.RequirementsBlue Card (Working with Children Check) and Yellow Card (NDIS Worker Screening Check) are required.First Aid and CPR Certification.Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle.Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, or equivalent (or willingness to obtain).NDIS Orientation Module completion.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Desirable SkillsExperience with mobility aids and equipment.Knowledge of the NDIS system and participant needs.Why Join UsWe offer competitive pay rate, flexible work hours, ongoing professional development and training opportunities, and the chance to be part of an organization that is committed to improving the lives of people with disabilities.
