We are seeking an experienced Catering Assistant to join our team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, multiple casual positions available. About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic, well-presented individuals to join our professional guest-oriented Food Services team.
In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, plating, and delivering patient meals, ensuring a clean environment is maintained, and the collection and cleaning of meal trays.
To be successful, you will have exceptional customer skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
You must be available for both morning and afternoon shifts on a 7-day rotating roster.
Skills & Experience Previous experience in a hospital or hospital environmentCertificate II or Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)Understanding of food safety and hygiene principlesProven ability to prioritise tasks effectivelyProven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as requiredExcellent interpersonal skills with a strong customer focusAbility to problem solve and maintain good working relations with othersYou set high standards for food safety and infection controlAbout the Organisation The Hospital is owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, a global operator of private hospitals and primary care clinics with 72 Australian sites employing over 34,000 people.
