We are now looking for a reliable and energetic delivery driver/dispatch assistant to join our logistic team. If you are a looking for a change, like to be out and about and interact with customers, then this role would suit you!
Early start may be required and punctuality is critical.
Monday to Friday, Occasional Saturdays.
The candidate must: Be proficient in learning products quickly Be tidy and organised Ability to multi-task Have experience in food handling, catering or events Be able to work under time pressure Attention to detail Show initiative and be proactive Previous experience in customer service Be physically fit as the job requires frequent lifting Good communication, time and resource management skills Must have full and clean drivers license Previous experience in a catering company will be preferred Have own transport Responsibilities include: Drop off catering orders Assisting in collating and dispatching daily orders Check quality of products prior to dispatch Assist the Dispatch Manager with daily tasks and responsibilities such as preparation of packaging materials Assisting in organising food packaging materials and stock take Cleaning duties Route planning Assisting in kitchen duties if required Only successful applicants will be contacted.
