Location: Fisherman's Bend
Role Overview: As a Catering and Canteen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in our kitchen and canteen operations. This position involves a variety of tasks, including washing dishes, basic kitchen cleaning duties, and assisting with customer service. Training on our point-of-sale system will be provided.
Responsibilities:
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment.
- Perform basic kitchen cleaning duties.
- Assist with food preparation and serving.
- Help serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale system after training.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining area.
- Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
- No nights, weekends, or public holidays
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Must be a self
-motivated individual who can work effectively without constant supervision.
