Catering Assistant – Wagga Wagga

RSL LifeCare is looking for Catering Assistants workers for our 83 bedded aged care home – Remembrance Village, Wagga Wagga, NSW.
This opportunity is perfect for Food Services Assistant/Catering Assistants who have a background in Aged Care/Disability Support/Commercial kitchen and are looking to enter the industry.
As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring high standard of food service to our residential aged care home. You will work alongside the care and support team to ensure that residents receive the highest quality in dining experience each time they receive meals.
Ideally you will have: Experience as a Kitchen hand in an aged care setting or similar settingExperience in following a comprehensive schedule and proceduresAn understanding of how to maintain a OH&S safe & clean environment for resident, staff and visitorsIt is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified prior to commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
