Catering Assistant- Tura BeachJob Description: RSL LifeCare is looking for Catering Assistants for our 45-bed aged care home Hugh Cunningham Gardens Tura Beach As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of food service to our residential aged care home. You will work alongside the care and support team to ensure that residents receive the highest quality dining experience each time they receive meals.
Ideally, you will have: Experience as a Kitchen hand in an aged care setting/ commercial kitchen or similar hospitality experienceExperience in following a comprehensive schedule and proceduresAn understanding of how to maintain an OH&S safe & clean environment for residents, staff, and visitorsWilling to work on a rotating rosterWilling to undergo pre-employment checksIt is a mandatory requirement for a team member working in the Aged Care sector to have a valid Police Check or a valid National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) check, or potentially both, to undertake the inherent requirements of the role. Clearances must be verified before commencing employment with RSL LifeCare.
