ACH Group are looking for Catering Assistants, to join our large-scale Central Kitchen at Holden Hill. This role would see you working Monday to Friday on rotating shifts, 7am till 3pm and 9am till 5pm.
What you'll do: In the central kitchen, you will support the preparation of meals at the modern cook-chill food production kitchen. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Chefs with meal preparation and distribution. Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards. Operating industrial dish washers to ensure equipment cleanliness. Provide support for various other kitchen tasks and duties. About You: Previous experience in meal preparation and food handling. Experience working within a production kitchen environment (desirable). An understanding of dietary requirements of older people. Strong communication/documentation skills with excellent attention to detail. APolice Check for unsupervised contact / vulnerable groups, no less than 12 months old upon commencement.
