About You: Strong work ethicTeam orientatedAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamFlexible to job needsAn exceptional eye for detailBe friendly and have a great manner with residentsRespect patient privacy and confidentialityDuties involved for this position include: Kitchen work, food handling, general cleaning, kitchen cleaning – cleanup of dishes, delivery of meals to patients / residentsTo provide and maintain a high quality standard of cleanliness within all areas of the Health ServiceEnsure that all residents, clients, visitors and staff are treated with respect, dignity and courtesy in an environment that is free from harassment and discriminationMaintain a clean, hygienic and safe environment under the Victorian Health facilities cleaning standardsPerform all delegated duties in a timely and efficient mannerParticipate in the food service to residents and the removal of meal trays / food after completionResponsible for appropriately documenting activitiesA food handling certificate would be advantageous.There will be provision for extra shifts to cover Annual Leave / Sick Leave.
Appointment is subject to immunisation clearance (Including COVID-19) and current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
