Reporting to the Catering Manager, you'll ensure meals meet health standards while upholding Serco's commitment to quality and care.
As a Catering Assistant, you'll make a positive impact by: Maintaining stock levels, receiving deliveries, and handling invoices accurately Preparing and serving meals that are wholesome, nutritious, and well-presented Following health, hygiene, and safety protocols, keeping all areas clean and compliant Assisting with catering for special events and ensuring service meets cultural needs Ensuring high standards of personal hygiene and professional presentation at all times Serco is a place for you To be successful in this role you'll have: A Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or willingness to complete within 12 months Up-to-date Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent) Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a collaborative team environment Flexibility, reliability, and resilience in a dynamic work setting A commitment to following safety and hygiene practices, with a proactive approach Please note: This position carries trust and responsibility.
