As a member of the Catering and Housekeeping team at Our Lady of Loretto Gardens, you will be providing high quality assistance to our residents.
About the Role:
Work as part of a team to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and presentation in our residents' rooms Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining service and assisting residents as required Supporting your peers and maintaining a cooperative team spirit Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and residents, closely following all policies and procedures To be successful in this role you'll need:
A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly Strong communication skills and a positive attitude Previous experience working as a cleaner and catering assistant ideally within an Aged Care environment Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people Ability to establish and maintain professional and appropriate relationships with residents and their families A reliable team player Ability to read, write and communicate effectively Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance What we can offer you:
