Cater Care is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Head Chef to work across a large site with multiple outlets.
Cater Care is delighted to be working with one of the region's most prestigious schools, providing high quality food services to hungry students. A critical role is the Head Chef, leading the team on a permanent full-time basis.
Description:
The Role:
Oversee and manage all aspects of the kitchen operations. Create innovative and nutritionally balanced menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements and preferences of students and staff. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP guidelines, and company policies across all kitchen activities. Recruit and lead a team of culinary professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and adherence to food safety standards. Skills and Experiences:
The Candidate:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role. Demonstrated ability to create innovative and nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary requirements. Excellent knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and HACCP standards. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team of kitchen staff. Adept at fostering positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders. Relevant culinary qualifications and certifications. The Benefits:
