Category Manager – Services, Products & ICT Join icare's Strategic Partnering and Performance team Permanent full-time role | Open to candidates from Sydney, Parramatta, Gosford, Wollongong, Newcastle Salary GRADE 11/12, Starting from $139,787.00 + super, plus benefits About the Role The Category Manager – WC Services, Products & ICT is responsible for the management of whole of Workers Compensation non-claims related services, products and ICT portfolios/categories and associated contracts.
Duties As a Category Manager – Services, Products & ICT, you will:
Maintain a constant emphasis on the core vision of icare, that is make the complex simple so our schemes deliver better outcomes for those we serve. Take ownership of the development and execution of strategic commercial portfolio/category plans within the remit to optimise value for money outcomes and meet icare's objectives and expectations. Own the performance of the assigned portfolios/categories by defining the portfolios'/categories' role within icare, developing value propositions and providing trusted, expert advice through gathering and analysing data, attending industry forums and understanding supplier capabilities. Be responsible and accountable for the accurate and timely resolution of complex, sensitive issues. Deliver appropriate, timely reporting through analysing data from multiple sources and creating storyboard narratives, advising robust recommendations, identifying risks and managing supplier performance. Model the behavioural expectations of the team through exhibiting collaborative, respectful and ethical interactions with suppliers and key business stakeholders. Provide support and expert advice on the resolution of challenging issues through strategic and fresh thinking. Skills & Experience Demonstrated experience in people leadership within a large, complex organisation. Minimum 3 years' experience in a people leadership position. Corporate mindedness and ability to navigate sensitive issues in a calm, thoughtful manner. Strong ethical focus and capability to maintain discretion with confidential information.
