We are seeking a skilled Logistics Category Manager to lead category management and strategic sourcing initiatives, ensuring alignment with our business transformation goals.
About the Role:As the Logistics Procurement Category Manager, you will be responsible for managing key logistics procurement categories, overseeing the end-to-end procurement process, developing category strategies, and building strong stakeholder relationships to achieve cost efficiencies, mitigate risks, and enhance supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute category procurement strategies aligned with CSR's supply chain transformation goals.Perform category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management across logistics categories.Manage the six-step sourcing process, from demand analysis to contract lifecycle management.Collaborate with the Supply Chain Team and key stakeholders to align objectives and ensure effective execution.Build a pipeline of opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.Rationalize and manage logistics suppliers to meet service and compliance targets.Identify innovative procurement solutions to drive savings and process efficiencies.Ensure compliance with WHSE standards and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.About You:To thrive in this role, you will bring:
Extensive experience in supply chain and logistics procurement, with strong category management expertise.Proven success in developing and executing category plans with a customer-focused approach.Data-oriented mindset with a focus on digital processes and sustainability.Strong commercial acumen, analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.A track record of leading complex projects and driving innovation with strategic partners.Exceptional interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities at senior levels.Tertiary qualifications in logistics, supply chain, or a commercial discipline (highly regarded).What we offer:We strive to support your professional and personal growth.
