You will be responsible for driving category growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences across our Fresh category. With a focus on innovation and strategic execution, you'll manage pricing, promotion, range, and space to deliver on our commercial goals.This role is about agility and adaptability—transforming category strategies, leveraging data to inform decision-making, and working collaboratively with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver measurable results.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership: Drive category growth by developing customer-centric ranges and category strategies that meet commercial objectives.Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with cross-functional teams to create category blueprints and visual merchandising solutions that boost engagement and sales.Vendor & Partner Relationships: Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with key suppliers and trading partners to deliver mutual business success.Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyse market data, trends, and category performance to identify opportunities that will drive sales, profitability, and market share.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor 2-3 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.About YouTo succeed in this role, you'll need a strong commercial mindset and proven experience in category management or buying, ideally within FMCG or convenience retail.
