6-month contract – Possibility to Extend$75-95 p/h + Super – Depending on ExperienceRooty Hill Location37.5 Hour Work WeekFlexible Work Model – After Initial TrainingOur client is looking for a Fleet Manager to manage a diverse range of procurement activities to ensure efficient and effective contract management services, facilitating the delivery of high-quality services by external vendors across the Fleet Replacement Program.

About The Role Facilitate effective vendor management, ensure best practice tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and selection.Monitor and manage external vendors to ensure efficient oversight of consultants, contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors.Deliver end-to-end tender and contract management services for the Council Fleet & equipment replacement program, ensuring timely development and execution of procurements within specified timeframes, costs, quality standards, and scope requirements in alignment with government objectives.Lead contract and procurement processes for designated projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives and compliance with NSW Government and Council procurement regulations.Evaluate vendor performance to ensure adherence to contracted standards within budget limitations.Implement directives from the Procurement Leadership Team to uphold the Council Government Procurement Accreditation.Coordinate the development of Contract Management Plans for all Council Fleet Replacement Program contracts, including strategic assessments, contractor performance reviews, supplier relations, contract variations, pricing adjustments, contract options, KPIs, and benefits monitoring.Supervise the performance of Fleet Replacement Program team members, ensuring efficient asset tracking, financial oversight, and program administration.Contribute to the formulation and execution of appropriate strategies, protocols, guidelines, procedures, and practices in collaboration with Council specialists to ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and environmental management requirements across all contracts.Skills & Experience Vast expertise in procurement and contract coordination, showcasing adeptness in handling numerous tenders and contracts simultaneously.Proficiency in understanding the fundamental concepts and principles of tender requirements, tender response, tender assessment, tender selection, and tender management.Comprehensive understanding of procurement principles and processes in Local & State Government, or readiness to acquire such knowledge.How To Apply Click 'Apply Now' if your skills and experiences align with the job description - we would love to hear from you!
