This is a role that requires autonomy; there is plenty of team support, but nobody is going to be holding your hand.
You are driving your product categories.



Your responsibilities Developing the category plan for your three product groups Developing a business case to support your strategies Managing compliance and testing - making sure products meet industry standards Managing pricing and margins Product lifecycle management and range reviews Analysis of sales, market data, market intelligence Market research Drive new product development and negotiate and work closely with suppliers overseas Your experience A strong understanding of the electrical industry is ideal; alternative market backgrounds include those associated with commercial building automation, lighting, fire, facilities management, etc. Appropriate tertiary qualifications in marketing, electrical engineering or a trade background (one is essential, two is ideal) Previous experience managing a product range that requires compliance and testing and adhering to industry standards Outstanding commercial skills - building a marketing plan, understanding and researching opportunities and delivering on those objectives Strong project management skills Customer focused Team player and able to work cross functionally Negotiation skills – internally and with suppliers Saunders Lynn & Company are dedicated to servicing the needs of construction, architectural and industrial products.
