Job Description We are currently offering a permanent, full-time opportunity for an experienced and pro-active individual to join us as a Machine Repair Operations (MRO) Category Expert in the Purchasing Department.
This role is based at our headquarters in Clayton, Victoria.
Position responsibilities will include: Support Bosch Australia Manufacturing Solutions (BAMS) projects with expertise in i-Buy tools and strategies.
Conduct market research, manage tenders, apply Advanced Negotiation methods for competitive commercial outcomes, negotiate terms and finalise contracts for assigned sub-material fields and regional plants.
Implement material field strategies and manage supplier relationships effectively.
Collaborate with internal customers to ensure early involvement in project planning and execution.
Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers to support BAMS business growth and introduce new suppliers as needed.
Manage and finalise contracts for assigned suppliers, ensuring compliance with procurement processes.
Utilise automated tools, including robotic process automation (training provided), to optimize purchasing operations.
Ensure indirect purchasing processes adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.
Ability and flexibility to participate in global co-ordination meeting with key partners Qualifications We are looking for a confident team player who is able to establish effective relationships quickly across all levels of the business.
You should be able to demonstrate the following: Hold a bachelor's or above in Supply Change or Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar) Demonstrated history of industry experience in MRO Machine, Repair and Operations, Machinery and Capital Equipment and services, or Automotive, food & beverage, special purpose machinery or general purchasing Strong commercial acumen Experience in a multi-national organisation will be highly regarded Proficiency in MS Office (in particular Excel and Outlook) SAP experience is essential Show willingness to learn and ability to pick things up quickly Strong sense of accountability and an open mindset Resilience in challenging situations and stakeholder management skills Great communication skills both written and verbal and confident presentation skills Strong organisational and coordination skills Additional Information At Bosch Oceania, we offer a dynamic and inclusive environment, where you'll play a key role in managing vital operations.
