Reporting to the Head of Category, this role offers support, autonomy and growth potential.About the RoleThe Category Manager will be the key voice along with the Head of Category and will have influence across every category and channel. They will provide compelling category insights and stories that align with the overall business objectives and NPD strategy; facilitating range reviews and ensuring the business maintains its place. They will also provide valuable feedback and insights to the NPD & Innovation team. The key responsibilities for the role include:Lead the range review process including customer presentation.Educate the business on category, consumer, shopper and market dynamics.Create and drive category management projects to optimise the ranges.Continue to integrate category management principles into the business.Translate critical consumer insights and analyse consumer data.Analyse market performance on different product lines.Maximise all product sourcing and development opportunities.Work with partners on future product development opportunities.Leverage insights from all relevant sources to continuously build and evolve the category understanding and ability to partner with the customer base.About youTo be successful in this role, you will need to be self-driven and comfortable being hands-on. You will be able to demonstrate strong knowledge of category and data analytics and provide actionable insights and compelling stories.
