Your expertise in contract formation and scoping will ensure compliance with policies and legislation.
Develop and implement category strategies and oversee contracts to drive supplier performance.
Provide surge support to our Strategic Sourcing Team during high-demand periods.
These accountabilities and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Oversee and manage category and contract strategies, initiatives, and plansEstablish and drive the vision and objectives for the Corporate Services & FM category portfolioProvide subject matter expertise and support for procurement activities across various categoriesLead negotiations and execution of commercial contracts, ensuring value for moneyReport on market trends, activities, and risks within the category portfolioImplement and maintain procurement and contract-related systems for accurate data collection and reportingBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including managing supplier performanceLead dispute resolution and address non-compliance and poor performance issuesDevelop and implement a benefits realisation plan for the category portfolioEngage with industry to promote innovation and adapt category strategies accordinglyAbout you Relevant procurement or business qualification or certification, highly desiredExtensive experience in procurement, contract, and category management in a large and diverse organisation, specifically within the medical and surgical categoryStrong knowledge and practical experience in commercial and contract negotiations, and contract and supplier managementProven ability to develop and promote procurement, contract, and category management initiativesCapability to plan, manage change, improve performance, and project manageDemonstrated experience in managing complex customer and supplier issues, resolving supplier performance issues, and ensuring contract complianceKnowledge and experience with e-procurement systems, including data analysis and reporting capabilitiesMater is Queensland's largest and most innovative not-for-profit healthcare service, providing care for almost 700,000 patients a year across a network of 11 hospitals.
