We are looking for a Category Administrator / Buying Assistant to join our Commercial Team.

About the role:
The objective of the Merchandise Co-ordinator is to ensure the effective administration, support and implementation of key promotional and merchandise objectives. Ensure you contribute to the financial growth of the business by facilitating member and supplier engagement and assisting in driving efficiencies across the Merchandise function.


Role and Responsibilities: Gather co-op, promotional submissions and related assets from suppliers to support set promotional programs agreed to by the head of API.Build promotional mud maps and review planned promotions.Ensure adherence to defined timelines for all promotional campaigns, from initial planning to store execution & post event review.Work with suppliers to optimise and ensure their promotional programs aligns to the appropriate banner strategy.Review promotional success and adjust promotions accordingly.Prepare and ensure all required promotional documents are to standard and delivered on time to the relevant departments/API.Management of promotional process from end to end.Review competitive market pricing to ensure catalogue pricing is competitive and inline with brand targets. 21st June, 2024 About DBG Health & IPA:

Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a Category/Buying Administrator or Assistant role or Pharmacy assistant / management position.Understanding of retail category management principals and strategy.Pharmacy industry experience will be highly regarded.Excellent numerical and analytical skills.High level of communication skills and attention to detailStrong organisational and time management skills.Proficient with the Microsoft Suite especially Excel, Word and Outlook.Self-motivated and a positive and supportive member of the team.
