APG Workforce are currently seeking EOI from experienced

Catchment Management Officers

to assist the Georges Riverkeeper team in implementing, managing and reporting on programs and strategies to improve the health of the Georges River catchment with an emphasis on waterway health through ongoing programs in river health, research and stormwater and sewage.

The Role

Preferred experience:

Experience in Environmental Science/Management, Ecology or related field or equivalent demonstrated experienceKnowledge and experience in water resource and/or natural resource project managementDemonstrated oral and written communication skills, including experience preparing written reports, community, and committee presentations, and/or conference presentationsAbility to work in a position which has a high level of independence and minimal supervisionAbility to implement and maintain waterway health and aquatic ecosystem monitoring, sampling and survey programs including reporting and field workDemonstrated ability to work with and communicate to a range of stakeholders and the community to develop partnerships and networks to support environmental managementExperience in investigating enquiries regarding water related & natural resource management issues and being able to provide advice, solutions and/or recommendations.

Licenses/Qualifications

Current Class C drivers licence are essentialTertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Management, Ecology or a related fieldFull Australian Work Rights
