Opportunity: Northern Star Resources has an opportunity for a Catalogue Officer to join the team at our Subiaco Head Office , on an initial two-year contract.
Reporting to the Manager, Purchasing & Master Data , this hands-on role will be responsible for processing internal applications for new stock items in the NSR ERP System, maintaining supplier Fixed Price Agreements (FPA's) , and processing of New Supplier Onboarding requests.

Key Responsibilities: Application of new stock items: Daily processing of application of new stock items in NSR's Nintex Systems , ensuring all supporting information is accurate and correct approval limits are adhered to.
Frequent review of catalogued items in the NSR inventory system to ensure information is accurate, up to date and relevant.
Implement standardisation between all datasets including descriptions, unit of measures, identifying and removing duplicate stock codes.
Standardise all group coding criticalities.
Ensure descriptions and notes are clear and precise to ensure an easy search function.
Ensure supplier descriptions and part numbers are accurate to enable the replenishment of stock without additional information.
Fixed Price Agreements: Monitor supplier price file expiry dates, issue supplier price file templates, analyse supplier price data and upload new supplier pricing on approval.
Engage with suppliers and review supplier price rise and falls and impact to the NSR business.
Engage with NSR sourcing and contract specialist to obtain and upload updated supplier reagent pricing.
New supplier onboarding: Daily processing of new supplier requests.
Identify active suppliers in the NSR ERP system to negate the need to onboard new suppliers.
Evaluate supplier utilisation data and rationalise the number of suppliers in the NSR system.
About You: With some experience (2+ years) in a similar data analysis, cataloguing or master data maintenance type role, you have an excellent attention to detail and a genuine interest in problem solving, data analysis & interpretation.

Outstanding administration & data entry skills are a must.
Exposure to, or a sound understanding of warehouse inventory master data.
Advanced computer literacy across the Microsoft Office Suite , in particular MS Excel.
A sound working knowledge of ERP systems , with Pronto experience highly desirable.
Well-honed verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to engage, influence & build solid & functional relationships across a diverse group of stakeholders.
Innovative, with strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
Extremely well organised with a keen attention to detail, you enjoy data analytics, and have an eye for data processing & interpretation.
Flexible & adaptable to changing priorities, you multitask effectively, and are comfortable in a dynamic & data driven environment.
