Casualty Claims Specialist - 9563Location: Dartmouth, Moncton
DescriptionCasualty Claims Specialist! Join a dynamic team where you'll handle large, complex auto and property claims with care, empathy, and efficiency. This role is all about delivering exceptional service, guiding clients through the claims process, and ensuring timely resolutions.
What You'll Do Be the go-to person for clients, offering support and clear communication every step of the way.Adjust high-level claims, making fair decisions on coverage and settlements.Work with experts like contractors, adjusters, and lawyers to ensure claims are handled swiftly and accurately.Investigate claims thoroughly, ensuring the right people and resources are brought in.Keep organized, document everything, and stay on top of industry trends.Provide coaching and support to fellow team members and jump in when the company's catastrophe plan kicks in.What You'll Bring 6+ years of insurance adjusting experience, and strong knowledge of commercial lines policy wordings.Great customer service skills—you care about getting it right for clients.Strong knowledge of policy coverages, property estimating software (Xactware is a plus!), and medical terminology.Solid problem-solving and communication skills.Organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.If you're detail-oriented, love solving problems, and thrive in a team setting, this is the role for you!
