Clinical CareTeachingEducationResearchOur Values -Integrity, Inclusive and Accessible Care, Collaboration, Excellence About the Role The Surgical Services Department at The Eye & Ear Hospital is seeking dynamic individuals to become part of a Casual Clerical Pool.
The successful applicants will be committed to the delivery of good customer service to support a positive patient and carer experience.
The department operates Monday to Friday with clerical staff rostered for 4 to 8 hour shifts, with start times of either 8am, 10:30am or 4:30pm.
Clerical staff work across all departments in the Surgical Services area.
Periodic overtime may be required.
Clerical staff work both independently and as part of a team to maximize the surgical experience for patients and carers.
Good communication, a commitment to front-of-house service, and reliable data entry are integral to this role.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory Police Record Check, a working with children check (if applicable), and evidence of vaccination status. All staff must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses), and for clinical staff, patient-facing staff, and staff working in clinical areas, it is a mandatory requirement to provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination.
