Our animal health care team will offer education, advice and care to ensure your pet has the longest, happiest and healthiest life passionate and dedicated clinic is looking for a Casual Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team and provide exemplary customer service and patient care to our valued clients!Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Provide effective support to veterinarians in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including anaesthetic monitoring, animal handling, IV catheter placement and blood collectionMaintain an excellent level of patient care and customer service at all times, treating every patient as if they were your ownMaintain a consistently high level of organisation and cleanliness in the hospital and kennel areas at all timesAssist with reception and administration tasksThe ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and min 1-2 years' veterinary nursing experience, OR minimum 3 years in a similar roleA team player able to work as part of a team and also unsupervisedAbility to work well and multitask under pressureAbility to self manage, problem solve and show initiative but also take directionPunctual with excellent communication and organisational skillsA keen desire to deliver excellent standards of patient care and customer service at all timesA genuine love for animals and their people!To find out more visit our website at is an equal opportunity employer and recognises that diversity is crucial to our success.
