As a result of being a research initiative of Macquarie University, MultiLit's publications, professional development and Literacy Centres are continually informed by an ongoing program of research.
The research team is led by Dr. Robyn Wheldall, Director of MRU.
We are seeking to appoint a number of enthusiastic people to join our MultiLit testing team.
Testers will administer standardised and curriculum-based assessments for research projects being conducted in Southeast Queensland primary schools.
Skills required:A degree (or in progress) preferably in education, special education, psychology, neuropsychology or speech pathologyEffective communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to follow detailed instructionsAbility to receive and act on feedback on performanceAbility to work in a confidential environmentCurrent Queensland Blue cardCurrent Queensland Driver's Licence and access to a vehicleExperience working with childrenFurther details:Positions are based at The MultiLit Centre in Brisbane however all testing will be conducted in locations around Southeast Queensland.
All offers of employment with MultiLit Pty Ltd are subject to staff signing a confidentiality agreement, and providing a current Working With Children Check/Blue Card.
Specific training in MultiLit testing methods is also compulsory and will be provided for the chosen applicants.
Note: The incumbent will be expected to receive, and act on, feedback on performance and input from MultiLit Research Unit staff.
