Location: Calrossy Anglican School, Tamworth – William Cowper and Brisbane Street Campuses
The teacher can be asked to work across multiple campuses and/or teach the online eCalrossy classes.
Role accountability: This position is ultimately responsible to the Principal. The position functionally reports to the Deputy Principal. Conditions of Employment: This is a casual position. Collaborates with: all internal stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Current Working with Children Check. First Aid Certificate. Current Driver's License. Appropriate NSW teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation. Experience in relevant teaching area. Knowledge of the current Primary/Secondary syllabus. Knowledge of AITSL teaching standards. Skills and motivation to teach in a live online environment. Demonstrated ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the learning needs of a diverse student body. Demonstrated capacity to integrate technology into effective teaching and learning for modern learners. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a capacity to maintain positive relationships, foster teamwork and engage all levels of the school and wider community. Provide a caring, well-managed and safe environment for students. Competence and interest in their classroom practice. Demonstrated ability to develop outcomes-based assessment tasks. Essential: Willingness to uphold the Christian Ethos of the school. Comply with the School's Code of Conduct. Comply with lawful directions. Follow reasonable instructions given by your supervisor or their delegate. Honesty, integrity, and authenticity in dealings with colleagues, students, and staff. Roles and Responsibilities and Expectations of Casual Teachers: Excellence in teaching. Willingness and ability to teach in various courses. An aptitude to enthuse students, both boys and girls. Seek to assist each student in classes regardless of ability. Assist with the school's Wellbeing program and student Mentor groups if required. Perform duties to the best of your ability and be accountable for your performance.
