Casual Tax Accountant

We now have a role available for a casual Tax Accountant, working 2-3 days per week pending business needs and being flexible to do additional days during the peak compliance period.

About the role: Take ownership of direct & indirect taxation reporting and compliance
Provide accurate and meaningful reports to internal and external stakeholders
Opportunities available for senior and first mover from professional practice
Monthly/quarterly GST, BAS and IAS returns, FBT and Income Tax returns for the group and our joint ventures, assist with tax projects plus lots more
Background & Experience required:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce
CPA/CA qualified or partially qualified
Strong knowledge and experience with Australian Taxation law, including high level tax technical knowledge
Commercial acumen
You're an accountant, so there's a few things that should go without saying but let's list them anyway: Strong attention to detail

Able to rock an Excel spreadsheet and manipulate data
