Casual Tax Accountant

We now have a role available for a casual Tax Accountant , working 2-3 days per week pending business needs and beingflexible to do additional days during the peak compliance period. About the role: Take ownership of direct & indirect taxation reporting and compliance Provide accurate and meaningful reports to internal and external stakeholders Opportunities available for senior and first mover from professional practice Monthly/quarterly GST, BAS and IAS returns, FBT and Income Tax returns for the group and our joint ventures, assist with tax projects plus lots more Background & Experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Commerce CPA/CA qualified or partially qualified Strong knowledge and experience with Australian Taxation law, including high level tax technical knowledge Commercial acumen You're an accountant, so there's a fewthings that should go without saying but let's list them anyway: Strong attention to detail Amazing work ethic Respect confidentiality of information Able to meet strict deadlines Team player Able to rock an Excel spreadsheet and manipulate data Hanson Australia is an equalopportunity employer, and we welcome people from all walks of life.
