About the role
As a casual ranger, you will be working in a team environment. Your day-to-day tasks will range from visitor engagement to hands-on environmental works, particularly assisting with threatened species protection within Mornington Peninsula National Park. You will demonstrate a strong personal work ethic and actively participate in a team environment, ensuring that the overall success of the team is considered to be an outcome of individual success. You will be responsible for performing various duties that require physical lifting and walking long distances.
We're looking for someone with

Experience in customer service with good interpersonal skills and ability to confidently engage with visitors
Demonstrated experience in self-motivation, time management and working autonomously
Good manual handling skills in a range of field-based maintenance tasks and practical use of tools and equipment
