Casual position with an hourly rate in the range of $58.22 to $62.46Broaden your career within one of QLD's largest employersBased at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in WoolloongabbaAbout UQAs part of the UQ community, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside the brightest minds, who have joined us from all over the world.Everyone here has a role to play.As a member of our professional staff cohort, you will be actively involved in working towards our vision of a better world.By supporting the academic endeavour across teaching, research, and the student life, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to activities that have a lasting impact on our community.About This Opportunity The Casual Senior Research Project Officer will play a crucial role in supporting high-quality research project outcomes throughout the research life cycle.Responsibilities include coordinating aspects of the project cycle such as planning, delivery, monitoring, and evaluation, and assisting with data collection through surveys, focus groups, and interviews.Additionally, the role involves providing research project and administrative support, including monitoring project plans, milestones, and deliverables, as well as preparing reports, graphs, figures, and presentations on research outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate research documentation, including ethics and funding applications, and conduct data auditing and quality assurance activities.Assist with the organization and coordination of research seminars and webinars, and provide support for CRE and Synergy meetings.This is a casual position at HEW level 6, with an hourly rate in the range of $58.22 to $62.46, plus superannuation of 11% (11.5% from 1 July 2024).As these roles are covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases in line with the Enterprise Agreement.About You Completion of a relevant degree in Public Health or health-related science with subsequent experience in coordinating activities or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.Demonstrated project management skills.Experience conducting participant enrolment and screening.Well-developed problem-solving skills, with an ability to forward plan, prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and work with a high level of adaptability, both independently and as part of a team.Strong interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to produce clear, succinct documentation and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of stakeholders in a research environmentIn addition, the following mandatory requirements apply:Work Rights: You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this appointment to apply.Visa sponsorship is not available for this appointment.Mandatory Immunisations: It is a condition of employment for this role that you will be required to provide evidence of immunisation against certain vaccine preventable diseases.
