The Simulation Learning team in Technical Services is establishing a pool of casual technical/scientific officers who can support learning and teaching across the nursing and paramedicine disciplines in the Faculty of Health.Successful applicants will have the following:A Bachelor degree in an area relevant to nursing or paramedicine or an Associate Diploma level qualification with at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education, or training.Ability to work collaboratively in a team using excellent interpersonal skills with a proven capacity to communicate effectively.Ability to effectively organise and prioritise work in order to meet deadlines and competing priorities.Well-developed problem solving skills including the ability to contribute to continuous improvement.An understanding of theoretical aspects and experience in the practical application of relevant nursing/paramedicine skills, as well as the ability to use specialised equipment (e.g. high and low fidelity clinical simulation equipment) associated with these techniques.High-level digital literacy skills, including Microsoft Office and relevant equipment specific software or the ability to quickly acquire these skills.Additional InformationSuccessful applicants will be contacted by the team leader.
