About the opportunity:We have a casual Merchandise Sales position available for a customer focused sales professional to join our Youngtown branch. Reporting to the Merchandise supervisor you will be a part of the larger merchandise team focusing on developing strong customer relationships.Tasks are varied and you will work across a variety of activities including customer service, sales administration, aid in the forecasting and ordering of inventory, preparing orders for delivery to customers.Be able to work in a fast-paced multi facet business responding promptly to product enquiries, resolving issues to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction whilst maintaining a welcoming, friendly work environment. About You:You demonstrate a passion for the agricultural industry with a desire to succeed dealing with long term repeat customers.Ideally you will have agricultural industry experience with a keen interest livestock and cropping enterprises, previous success in a retail sales or customer service role an advantage.You will be a self-motivated person capable of nurturing and sustaining strong customer relations with the ability to follow through and "get the job done" in a fast-paced environmentThe ability and desire to learn all aspects of the agricultural retail operations and sales supporting technical staff in the fieldA current driver's license is required; with a forklift license an advantage but not mandatory.
