THE ROLE At JD Sports, our customer is at the heart of everything we do. As a Sales Assistant, your mission is to provide exceptional customer service that creates a memorable shopping experience and a lasting positive connection to our brand.
A Sales Assistant at JD is energetic, genuine and customer-focused, offering personalised assistance to our customers who have come seeking the best products and biggest brands.
As a Sales Assistant you are responsible for, but not limited to:
Act as a brand ambassador, always showing positivity and professionalismGain and maintain up to date product knowledge to best assist our customersProvide personalised 1:1 customer serviceAssist customers with all queries and process salesWork in collaboration with the wider Management and store team to achieve KPI's and targetsSupport wider team with ad hoc tasks, including VM set up, store cleanliness and presentationEscalate any customer complaints to managementConsistently complete any mandatory training relevant to product, policy & procedureWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Customer service experience within retail, hospitality or like industryAbility to provide excellent service and go above & beyondPassionate about sports fashion or has a knowledge of key brandsA positive can-do attitude and ability to work as a teamThrives in a fast paced, ever-changing environmentEnthusiastic to overcome challenges and learn new skillsStrong communication skills, someone who thrives through engagement with customers and teamworkAbility to multi-taskFlexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and holidays, based on store needsWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?
