Job DescriptionThe Casual Relief Teacher at St Andrews Christian College plays a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students.
They are responsible for providing effective teaching and maintaining a positive learning environment in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
The main tasks and responsibilities include:
Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans and materials to ensure continuity of learning for studentsImplementing effective classroom management strategies to create a safe and inclusive learning environmentAdhering to the school's policies and procedures while promoting the Christian ethos and valuesEstablishing positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to support the overall educational experienceAdapting teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and individual student needsParticipating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledgeCollaborating with colleagues to contribute to the overall success of the school communityProviding feedback on student progress and behavior to support ongoing assessment and reporting processesAs a Casual Relief Teacher, flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for education are essential qualities for successfully fulfilling this role within St Andrews Christian College.
