Casual Registered Nurse (multiple positions available)

CS#1 is a proud community-based not-for-profit organization based in Narrabundah (ACT), managing and delivering a range of services designed to meet community needs across the ACT and regional NSW. CS#1 is seeking a passionate and motivated RN to join our agile, fun, responsive home care team, who shares our passion and connection with the community.
CS#1's home care team supports people over 65 years in our communities to live their best lives safely and independently.
About the role:
CS#1 is seeking a qualified RN for clinical care in line with our Clinical Governance Framework. The RN will work with the Support at Home Partners to ensure clients receive the clinical services to achieve their goals and remain living in their own home, reducing the risk of adverse events and hospitalisation or premature admission into residential care.
The RN will promote a culture that values a high level of customer service to clients and team members, as well as a safe and healthy workplace.
The RN will work closely with Support at Home team members to deliver clinical services and tasks assigned to clients in accordance with the clients' Support Plan and in line with the Home Care Package program. RN's will also contribute to the development of the clients' Support Plan in collaboration with the Support at Home Partners, prioritising referrals and ongoing supports as required.
Casual position
Annual salary commensurate with qualifications and experience (Nurses award), plus superannuation
Free Parking at Head Office, based in Narrabundah.

Qualifications and experience:
Registered Nurse with current Registration under the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Demonstrated sound understanding of risk assessment and duty of care for home and community care services
Demonstrated experience in creating a culture of continuous program improvement, including participating in quality assurance processes
Demonstrated excellent team management and organisation skills, including experience developing clinical awareness and competencies within a team
Demonstrated commitment to a person-centred, enablement approach that upholds the independence, community participation, choice, and rights of people over 65 years and carers
Degree or higher in Health Science, Applied Science (Nursing) or relevant fields such as Gerontology, Palliative Care, Dementia Care, Community Nursing (RN desirable).
Post Graduate qualifications in a specialty relevant to aged care nursing, Cert IV in Assessment & Training, Cert IV in Frontline Management (desirable).
Eligibility Criteria:
First Aid certificate with annual CPR recertification
Own car and current Driver's License
Current Criminal History Record Check
Current Working with Vulnerable People
Proof of Australian work rights
