About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a suitably experienced individual to fill the Casual Ranger position within the Community Services work area.
The successful candidate will be required to work occasional weekends and be available to cover leave.
We're looking for someone who:
Has well developed oral and written communication skills, including strong negotiation and conflict management skills.
Is solution focused with a 'can do' attitude.
Has initiative and flexibility.
Will provide a high level of customer service whilst undertaking community education and law enforcement in Local Laws, Acts of Parliament and Regulations.
Has experience in a compliance or investigative role.
Has a high level of ability to interpret and apply legislation.
Has proficient computing skills and is well versed in Microsoft Office Programs.
Wants to be a part of a strong team culture.
Will Champion the Shire's vision, values, commitment, and objectives.
The Benefits
An attractive hourly rate of $41.1183 per hour including 25% casual loading, up to 16.5% Superannuation, and additional work-related allowances.
