Come and work in a supportive, fun environment with one of the ABC's flagship news programs.The ideal candidate will have experience working in a broadcast newsroom in either a production or reporting role. Digital and vertical video production skills are also highly advantageous.You will need: A working knowledge of TV and Video production, ideally in a newsroom environment A wide knowledge base that covers national and international news, as well as sport, finance and popular culture Demonstrated ability to use editing software Attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to produce concise, accurate and engaging content for TV and digital audiences The ability to identify and suggest new story ideas, or fresh angles for existing stories The ability to help develop a varied contacts list to bring in guests who reflect modern-Australia The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment, working both under direction and autonomously as required This role will predominantly work across the morning production desk with shifts starting at 2, 3 or 4am, but may also need to work afternoon and evening shifts.
