About the Role:The Nurse/Senior Office Administrator plays a critical dual role in supporting both clinical and administrative operations at Specialised Urology. This position ensures the seamless delivery of patient care while maintaining the efficient running of the practice on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities: Clinical Duties: Assist with patient clinical concernsEnsure patient records are maintainedEnd to end theatre bookingPerform specialist procedures, including voiding flow rates, bladder scans, and administering ADT injections.Manage Urgent PC treatments and treatment plans.Provide patient education and support.Assist with minor procedures and general nursing tasks.Administrative Duties: Oversee day-to-day practice operations to ensure a positive patient experience.Coordinate and maintain theatre lists.Assist with patient bookings, billing, and scheduling.Assist with managing patient queries, liaise with Medicare, private health funds, and hospital departments.Ensure facilities and equipment are in optimal working order.Perform procurement activities related to goods and equipment as needed.Handle accounts and finance processing, including payment tracking and outstanding accounts when required.Promote a positive team culture.Skills and Experience: Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (RN).Minimum 2 years of experience in a senior administrative or clinical role.Proficiency in MS Office Suite and database applications.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask, prioritise, and problem-solve effectively.Experience with Shexie Practice Management Software is an advantage.What We Offer: A supportive, professional team environment.Opportunities to develop clinical and administrative skills.Modern facilities in a specialist practice.Your application will include the following questions:
