Dynamic role assisting the Shire's internal & external customersFriendly supportive team environmentCasual poolWe are inviting expressions of interest for Customer Services Officers and Library Officers to join our casual pool providing leave cover for our Customer Relations and Libraries team. Our Customer Service team are based at our Shire Administration Offices in Capel, servicing our community from Monday to Friday. Our Library team work across our three libraries in Capel, Boyanup and Dalyellup from Monday to Saturday. We are currently seeking additional Library casuals with availability to work full days on Mondays and Fridays across all libraries, and Saturday mornings in Capel and Dalyellup.

Responsibilities: As a Customer Service Officer, you will act as the first point of contact for our customers. You will receive and triage customer requests, assist with basic enquiries and escalate technical and complex enquiries to the relevant teams as appropriate.You will receive and receipt payments, assist with venue hire, and receive, process, and refer incoming applications and registrations as appropriate.As a Library Officer, you will assist readers with their enquiries, issue and discharge library materials and maintain records across our libraries in Capel, Boyanup and Dalyellup.As a team player, your flexible and pro-active approach and friendly communication style will enable you to quickly build rapport with internal and external customers and develop strong working relationships across the organisation.The rewards: Flexibility and supportInvestment in you and your careerAn inclusive culture where all our people are valued, EEO, diversity and differences are respectedA strong focus on employee wellbeing and safety$26.9698 - $31.9518 per hour base rate (plus 25% casual loading rate)Up to 14% Shire superannuation contributionEmployee benefits program offering a wide range of discountsTo be considered for this role you will be able to demonstrate:
