Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable person to join our Ground Operations team as Pick Packer Runners.
This is a unique opportunity for an individual that doesn't mind getting their steps in.
The on-site operations team plays an integral role in their drone delivery service and is responsible for the prompt and accurate fulfillment of all consignment merchant orders received.
Reporting to the Manager and Coordinator, your role involves the following:
Receive orders via internal appsPack into delivery containersSafely and efficiently run packages between retailers & merchants to the nest & flight lineExamine and inspect items & products to ensure that packing specifications are metMaintain a clean and safe working environmentRun off-site errandsAdditional tasks as required by the Ground Ops CoordinatorComply with all training and procedures such as wearing PPE while on the flight lineCommunicate/report any safety or operational issues to the CoordinatorConduct end of day procedures (e.g., bin runs and cleaning duties)Experience: All training will be provided, but past warehouse/Pick Packer and hospitality/retail experience will be highly regardedAbility to multitask and manage competing priorities effectivelyThe job involves a lot of walking throughout the day over all sorts of outdoor conditions that our drones can operate in (rain, heat, wind, etc.
)A good attitude is required while working in a fairly repetitive and autonomous environment with physical and manual handling at its coreYou will thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced working environmentAvailable across Tuesday to Sunday, MUST be available on WEEKENDSIf you think you are suitable, APPLY NOW!
