A great opportunity for a Grade 1/2 Physiotherapist to join our Physiotherapy team at Alfred Health, as a casual staff member.
Casual weekend hoursPredominantly working in the acute stroke unit at The Alfred Hospital - May be required to work in other Alfred Health sites depending on clinical skillsetsGrade 1/2 Physiotherapist Classification (VA3 - VA7, VB1 - VB4)The DepartmentThe Physiotherapy Department provides acute physiotherapy services to the patients of The Alfred and Sandringham Hospital and subacute physiotherapy services to Caulfield Hospital.
The acute physiotherapy service is organised into five functional streams, namely: Intensive Care, Musculoskeletal, Respiratory, PAN (Progressive Illness, Aged Care and Neurosciences), and Sandringham.
The Position SummaryThe Grade 1/2 Casual Physiotherapist is responsible for the ongoing development and provision of physiotherapy services to the designated clinical areas at the level of a developing expert.
The areas of work will be in an area of specialty based on the skills of the successful candidate - acute inpatient areas across the Alfred and/or Sandringham hospitals, and subacute fast and slow rehabilitation at Caulfield Hospital.
