Council is seeking an experienced Nurse Immuniser to join the Environmental Health team.
This is a casual position and will be engaged on an as-required basis to meet operational needs.
Kingborough Council is responsible for providing an immunisation service to community members identified in the National Immunisation Program Schedule and the Tasmanian Immunisation Schedules.
This position will, in conjunction with Council's existing Nurse Immunisers, assist with the provision of Council's community immunisation program.
The program includes monthly community immunisation clinics run on the second Tuesday of each month, school-based immunisation sessions, and staff vaccinations including the annual influenza vaccination program.
You must hold and maintain a current Registration status with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as well as currency as an Authorised Nurse Immuniser with the Tasmanian Department of Health.
The position is offered on a casual basis with a salary in line with the Nurses and Midwives State Award of $60.71002 per hour, excluding 25% casual loading.
