About the role:Reporting to the Branch Manager you will focus on developing strong customer relationships.
Our customer base is broad and can include local farmers, primary producers and trade customers and the focus of your role is to provide a memorable experience for all customers either in store or over the telephone whilst: Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, checking for accurate receival and dispatch of goodsAssisting customers with pricing and product queries Processing counter salesMaintaining safety processesAssisting with merchandise campaign materialMaintaining a welcoming, friendly, and well-presented store environmentLoading and unloading trucks, dispatching, and unpacking orders and deliveriesDelivering customer orders What we'll love about you:We are keen to hear from jobseekers with a high focus on customer service, attention to detail, problem solving skills, the ability to think outside the square and get the job done.
You'll also have a passion for Australian farming and agriculture, ideally with knowledge of animal health and rural merchandise.
In addition, you will demonstrate:Drivers and Fork Lift LicencesExperience working within a sales environmentEffective written and verbal communications skills to build solid long-term customer relationshipsProblem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer issues promptlyExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookWhy work for us?
