About the Service: Head to HealthLauncestonis an innovative mental health service funded by Primary Health Tasmania, providing a one-stop hub and mental health support for people aged 18 years and older.

Deliver short- to medium-term, evidence-based, best-practice interventions and conduct group work, comprehensive assessments, and care plans for people 18 years of age and overWork collaboratively in service delivery, planning, and developmentParticipate in clinical review and quality-assurance processesContribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships with external stakeholdersRequirements: Mental health-related degree (e.g. psychology, social work, counselling) and related registration along with a minimum of 2 years' experience in the relevant fieldKnowledge and experience in the provision of clinical mental health assessment and evidence-based interventionsProven judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding assessment and care planningSound understating of the public, non-government and private mental health systems and programs and associated non-mental health programs in a community settingDemonstrated computer skills and ability to maintain clinical recordsProven understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy and confidentialityPositive, solution-focused attitude with commitment to positively participate in service improvement activities and personal clinical growthWell-developed written, verbal and interpersonal skillsMust be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWVPMust hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearanceVaccination against COVID-19 is a requirement for all positions and is in accordance with Stride policy.
